"Some Things are better Left to Lie" is what I've dubbed this piece. Silk-screen print. Cleaned it up a tiny bit, there was a sploch on the leg and I'm not sure what happened to her hand but I trie dto fix it ( I think I failed though. )
Tell me if you can discern the monster from the rest of the roots.
"What's going on here?"
I'm glad you asked that. You see, in Norse mythology there is a serpent that eats at the roots of a tree. This tree is the Tree of Life and when it dies, so does the earth. Here I combined that with the manipualative nature of Munnin from the manwah and she is disturbing the great levithan.
Pretty!!! I love prints, and they're hard to do >.< But this came out really well, the black on whit elooks amazing, and the lines on the body came out really well defined
-- Go ahead--Run. Lightning loves moving targets....Mmmwahaha...
But this one's so neat! ^_^ I've always found silk-screening horribly difficult and messy to do, but you did such a great job with Munin! Excellent concept, too.

I am the monster that lives underneath your bed. Be afraid.
Anyways, this is WAY better, all black and white (which i LOVE) and it's better shaped
Although i can't see the levithan
